1. License and Permitted Use

The web-based version of AdSim is provided free of charge and licensed strictly for academic and non-commercial evaluation purposes. The desktop version is available for purchase and may be used for commercial or industrial applications, subject to these terms.

No commercial consulting or internal business use of the web version
No regulatory use or inclusion in deliverables
No use for training within a commercial setting
No use in developing or benchmarking competing software

2. Prohibited Uses

Reverse engineering, modifying, or creating derivative works
Using third-party components independently of AdSim
Using AdSim as a service bureau or shared access platform

4. Simulation Disclaimer and No Warranty

AdSim is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. You are solely responsible for validating simulation results with real experimental data. The developer disclaims liability for any damages arising from the use of AdSim, including process failure or regulatory non-compliance.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developers be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, downtime, or production failure.

6. Payments and Licensing (Desktop Version)

Commercial use requires a paid license for the desktop version. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.

7. Termination of Access

Access may be terminated for violation of these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using AdSim and delete any stored copies.

8. Export Compliance

You agree to comply with export laws and not use or distribute AdSim in prohibited countries or to prohibited individuals or entities.

9. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.

10. Amendments

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of AdSim constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
